I want this blog to be like I'm having a one on one conversation with you, my readers. I want to tell you the stories of my life how they have impacted me and the lessons I have learned from my mistakes, trials, misfortunes, and martial arts practice.
In my life, the martial arts have had a pivotal role. I have found great enjoyment in their practice. Not only have I found enjoyment in the hard training and moments of meditation, but I've also been able to find or create many metaphors for a successful life out of its practice... As you'll read in later posts sometimes I haven't heeded these warnings but none the less I've gotten the great lessons from them.
Martial Arts to me are metaphors for life. Tai Chi and Kung Fu especially have changed my life. Massage, meditation, chi kung, and many other disciplines have helped me fortify the lessons and morals instilled in me from the martial arts practice and great teachers I've had. I want to pass on these values to you.
I hope to bring real value to your life through ideas, stories, philosophies and disciplines that have changed my life.
I did not do this alone, I've had some great mentors. Great people that have personally been in my life and many others who I brought in through books, videos, seminars, and other instructional methods. I'm a firm believer that to bring success into your life it is very important to first lay a foundation of solid habits and disciplines that can support the stress of your future successes!
I haven't always done this, but now that I have been working hard on it I find myself always enjoying things better and finding more and more surprises with disciplined action.
